I remember watching Revenge of The Creature on TV’s Creature Features back in the 60s and 70s with my kid brothers and sisters. It’s the second film in the three-part Creature From the Black Lagoon series.

Although not as good as 1954’s Creature From the Black Lagoon, this 1955 sequel is still a solid horror classic. I’m surprised there haven’t been any remakes, yet…. More on that in a minute.

Revenge of The Creature focuses on a second scientific expedition to the Amazon in search of the “Gill Man,” who was leading a pretty happy aquatic existence until civilization visits his neck of the swamps.

Being scientific types, the expedition’s team uses a highly-technical, scientific-type method to capture the hapless Creature…
